The sliding retainer module requires only the power of the driven toolholder to slide the retainer and open and close the hydraulic jaws.
This structure is designed to minimize interference within the machining area and is also suitable for smaller machines and those working on sub-spindles.
The center retainer module is equipped with a wireless switch to control the opening and closing of the support arm while moving to the machining position.
A dedicated control unit is provided to connect to the machine's CNC system.
The clamping force can be easily adjusted using a dedicated valve.
Key features of the fixed steady rest toolholder include:
Machining of slender parts is possible on lathes without a hydraulic steady rest.
No additional piping or rotary joints are required on the turret.
The sliding retainer module is available in two sizes:
Size 1: Parts with diameters of 4-64 mm
Size 2: Parts with diameters of 8-101 mm
It is suitable for turning centers with multiple toolholders and can be used on a wide range of lathe models.
