The 91° Multi-Output Gear Shaving Driven Toolholder can process various internal and external shapes (square holes, hexagonal holes, gears, and special shapes).
It uses forming tools and achieves high precision and excellent surface quality. It can be used for small holes ranging from 2/3mm to 30mm.
Compared to hobbing and shaving, it reduces tooling costs. The output shaft of the 91° multi-output shaving toolholder is angled 91° relative to the turret,
rotating synchronously with the workpiece during machining. Rotating at the same speed, excellent straightness is maintained even on long workpieces.
This toolholder is used on machines with a Y-axis. The multiple outputs can be used for both roughing and finishing, occupying only one tool station.
The outputs are carefully aligned for superior machining accuracy.
Use different tools to machine various internal and external contours (square, hexagonal, gear, and special shapes).
At a 91° angle relative to the turret plane, machining is synchronized with workpiece rotation.
Excellent straightness is achieved even on long parts.
Multi-axis output: Roughing and finishing are performed using a single toolholder and a single turret position.
