Several misunderstandings to avoid when using a power tool holder

Jun. 28, 2024

With the increasing complexity of workpieces, the improvement of precision level and processing efficiency, multi-axis and high speed have become necessary conditions for machine tools. The power tool holder, also known as the power milling head, power head, etc., is the terminal machine tool accessory for CNC turning center to complete milling processing. Whether it can be operated correctly directly affects the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the workpiece.

Generally, each tool holder will be placed in the packaging box before leaving the factory. Therefore, when we use it, we must strictly follow the requirements in the manual to extend its service life as much as possible.

Next, we will briefly introduce the relevant instructions for use.

For use, it is required not to use it when the coolant is not turned on, because for such operation, its internal oil seal may be worn more quickly, so that the use of the power tool holder is hindered.

When we use it, in order to avoid serious wear of the internal parts of the tool holder or damage to the internal oil seal, the coolant must be filtered before use, and the method of treatment is to install a filter device inside it.

When using, the rated speed of the power tool holder has certain usage requirements. Therefore, we cannot exceed the specified rated speed when using it. For the maximum allowable water pressure of the tool holder, it must be used according to the requirements when using it, but the tool used must be a center water outlet tool. When using power tools for processing, we also need to use a water stop bucket or water stop nut.
