In the process of more than ten years of sales of CNC tool holders, I often hear customers say, "How long can your tool holder be used?
Or how long can it be used? This is a conceptual misunderstanding. Why do you say that?
One of the reasons is that the working environment and working conditions in the production process are not uniform and the tool change frequency is not uniform;
from the frequency of use; for example: two factories purchased BT40 tool holders (BT40-ER32-100) at the same time.
We call the following two factory customers Factory A and Factory B respectively; Factory A is engaged in mold manufacturing industry;
according to the characteristics of mold manufacturing industry; the product is single, the process is relatively long,
and the tool change cycle is long; the tool change frequency is relatively low; Factory B is engaged in hardware processing and mechanical product manufacturing industry,
its process is complex and the process is often changed The frequency of cutting is relatively high; the service life of the tool handles of these two companies is naturally different,
so we generally do not calculate it according to the use time; we generally calculate it according to the number of tool changes;
the general conventional BT tool handle is conservatively estimated to be used between 2000 and 3000 times.
After 2000 times of normal use, the tool handle still meets the accuracy we use; and the accuracy standard of repeated positioning;
but according to our standard of 2000 times per tool handle, the tool is changed 3 times a day, then excluding holidays; the general tool handle can be used for 3 years;
but in actual use, few factories use a tool handle for 3 years; most tool handles are damaged by collision during use; or other reasons;
of course, there are many factors that affect the service life of the tool handle during production and use.
