Different workpiece materials can withstand different pressures.
The data in the table below are recommended pressures for several commonly used workpiece materials during indexing chuck use.
| No | workpiece material | Clamping pressure /MPa | Graduation pressure / MPa |
| 1 | copper parts aluminum parts | 1.5-2.5 | 3-3.5 |
| 2 | Cast iron parts | 2.5-3.2 | 3.5-4 |
| 3 | steel parts stainless steel parts | 3-3.5 | 3.5-4 |
Notes:
1. The pressures listed above are recommended pressures. Adjustments can be made based on actual cutting and product deformation conditions during actual use.
2. The indexing pressure must be 0.5 MPa or higher than the clamping pressure, but should not exceed 4.5 MPa.
3. The chuck is designed for a maximum pressure of 5 MPa; actual use should not exceed 4.5 MPa.
